DPI initiated 17 Fast Track Projects in Q4 2016. These projects focus on research challenges for Industrial partners in the areas of Coatings Technology, Performance Polymers and Polyolefins. The projects run for 1 to 2 years and are staffed with Postdocs. New academic research groups with a proven track record in the research fields have been selected and joined DPI to execute these projects.
Based on the DPI model, the collaboration between the academic and industrial parties results in complementing and building on each other’s strengths. The projects will generate research results which guide the direction of future research programme.
