Avantium Technologies has signed a partnership agreement with the Dutch Polymer Institute (DPI). The agreement signifies a strengthening of the recently started high throughput screening programme within DPI. Avantium Technologies is a global leader in high-throughput process R&D for chemical and pharmaceutical industries A number of important companies involved in instrumentation for high throughput screening and combinatorial material research have now joined DPI. In cooperation with the existing research programmes, a new integrated platform for the development of polymer materials utilising high throughput experimentation methods will be a central goal. Gert-Jan Gruter, Vice President Technology of Avantium, takes a seat in the programme committee of Functional Polymer Systems, one of the five Technology Areas of DPI.
